What is Special Event Insurance?

Special Event insurance can help protect you from financial loss for specific occasions you're planning such as a wedding, a prize or contest to gain customers, or event cancellation due to weather and other circumstances. These policies include:

• Liability Insurance - This protects the event holder and the venue in case of claims resulting from property damage or injuries that occur during the event.
  • Liquor Liability can also be added to your policy.
• Property - Some policies will give you flexibility to insure art installations and other temporary or permanent property at the event.
• Cancellation or Postponement - This coverage may be available when you purchase the liability insurance for your event. Cancellation insurance covers costs in case you unexpectedly need to cancel.

Whether someone falls and gets hurt, or there is damage to someone else’s property, this coverage will provide protection by assuming the risk of legal claims brought by a third party. Coverage for short-term event organizers and exhibitors or annual coverage for event organizers and exhibitors is available through the TotalEvent® system.

Prize Indemnity Insurance enables you to offer a risk-free large prize for a fraction of the prize value. Event Cancellation
